Our carpets and walls are dry. Time to move stuff. Our 2D room will house most of our digital art machinery. We are also bringing in a hydroponics station, podcasting equipment, and bean bags—lots and lots of bean bags.
I’ve been stoked about the maker movement since I heard about it last Spring. On a personal note, I often wondered how I ended up back at a community college…after receiving my BS from an accredited university.

In the last year, we have created a space where students from every walk of life can feel at home, and also, make things. I’ve watched as the core team shook hands, as we slowly got to know each other.
