PROBLEM DEFINITION: How might design and develop a brand identity and craft a video to bring the concepts and business objectives of Co-Creations House of Art to life?
SOLUTION: The inclusive, hand drawn style of the logo inspires makers and artists of all ages and backgrounds. The video is a 1 minute promo of Co-Creation’s vision and offerings. JR’s submission to the 2019 Sacramento Dreamers Competition, including logos, video, business plan, and resume, made it through to the semi-finals, now competing for a prize package of entrepreneurship mentoring and funding for a brick and mortar studio in downtown Sacramento.
Constraints & Limitations
The timeline to create these materials was four weeks. Due to a strong client—designer relationship, we managed to finalize deliverables in an efficient, timely fashion.
The client had a strong voice in the logo design. After several iterations, we met in the middle, and we were both proud of the final design.
Working with JR was an inspiring process, and she taught me that learning and achieving are lifelong events. As she aims to be the winner of the Sacramento Dreamers Competition, we plan on building the brand together.
